Despite Brexit, there is still plenty of scope for using this jurisdiction to recognise foreign proceedings, and for proceedings brought in England and Wales to be recognised elsewhere, with their impact having global reach.

The panel will discuss recent examples of recognition of foreign proceedings in the UK using the Cross Border Insolvency Regulations and Letters of Request for cooperation between courts of different jurisdictions as well as examples of successful cases of global asset tracing borne out of proceedings in the UK.
