The panel will discuss:

Great Expectations. Discussion on Baltic Sttes and Arbitration

A panel of practitioners from the Baltic States or working with Baltics’ related arbitrations will discuss what type of disputes are more likely to end with London seated arbitrations and/or applicable English law, whether there is a need for English counsels to act as counsel in Baltic arbitration, save for English arbitrators, does size of the dispute matter answering these questions. Panelists shall share their practical insights towards upcoming major projects (infrastructure, energy) in the Baltic region that might lead to commercial or investment arbitrations as well as possible disputes resulting from reality of these turbulent times – including measures taken by the Baltic States related to national security and implementation of sanctions.
