This will be a practical look at the extent to which the English court can support foreign arbitration proceedings.  It will explore what interim relief is available from the English court under Ss. 43 and 44 of the Arbitration Act 1996 and S. 37 of the Senior Courts Act 1981, and how this may be impacted by the amendments to the 1996 Act.   In particular, it will consider the scope for anti-suit relief in light of the recent court of appeal decisions in Deutsche Bank AG v Ruschemalliance LLC and Unicredit v Ruschemalliance LLC, and the availability of orders for the taking and preserving evidence, making orders relating to property and the appointment of receivers.

Please note, registration for this event will be open shortly.
