How can investment protection contribute to the energy transition?

The energy transition is one of the most important global challenges of our lifetimes.  But how can investment protection contribute to meeting energy transition goals?  Our panel will explore the role of investment protection now and in the future in relation to different areas of the energy sector, including mining, renewable energy and fossil fuel investments; and look at how investment protection interacts with key issues such as State regulatory power, environmental concerns and resource nationalism.
