With the growth of collective actions in recent years, the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) has transformed itself into the UK’s class actions tribunal. The rich, objective data on CAT cases, now available for the first time, clearly show the stark surge in large competition claims based on consumer issues. These consumer issues are often high profile and play themselves out much more publicly than traditional business-to-business litigation. The level of public attention generates unique considerations in respect of participants’ reputations (both claimant and defendant side).
A panel, including UK litigation analytics leaders Solomonic, competition litigation specialists from Linklaters, leading competition chambers Brick Court and reputation consultancy Byfield, will explore these themes.
The event is being held on Wednesday 5th June at Brick Court Chambers in London, with registration and a light breakfast served from 8:30am and the panel discussion starting at 9:15am. This is a hybrid event, so please select your preference when registering using the form below. We would be delighted to have you join us.
Please note, as in-person space is limited and not all registrants attend on the day, we have to over-issue a percentage of tickets. Due to this, entry is subject to capacity on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly encourage you to arrive early from 8:30am onwards to secure your seat and avoid any disappointment on the day.
